Playing Tag on a Tuesday

We hope you're still making your B&W with a Splash cards - great for those last minute ones that you completely forgot, or for the 2 cards someone has just emailed asking for (aggghhh just when I was thinking I'd only 2 things left on my "to do" list....). We've seen some fab cards so far, and a fab scrapbook LO too, please keep them coming, we love to see your work.

Well, by now you've made all your cards and they're heading to their destinations. All your crafty gifts are wrapped and ready to go, you've even made some nice tags for them - especially if you played along with last week's Little Extra.. expertise
If you're anything like me the presents for Hubby are the last to get wrapped, and usually by then the nicest tags have all been used up. So this week's Little Extra is simple, and it's another tag one - we'd like you to make:
a special tag for a special present
be it for Mum or Dad, for the Love of Your Life or even for your Best Friend in the Whole Wide World, this year make sure their present has a special finishing touch and join in with this week's midweek mayhem.

Just leave us a message when you're done so we can all come and look at your crafty makes . There won't be a Little Extra next week, so you'd better make th most of this one!

Here are a couple from us to start with:

Black and White Christmas cards with a splash of colour

The next three weeks dares have been thought up by the design team collectively, and because we didn't want to add to your pressures over the Christmas period- we thought we'd come up with a few 'not too challenging' dares, just to get us through this busy time. We have themed the cards appropriate to the time of year so that you might be able to kill two birds with one stone and actually use them soon (so Kathy will be happy ) !

On a sad note- unfortunately we are losing our lovely Debs from the design team. Debs, has for the time being decided to put her card making to one side to allow her to concentrate on other areas of her life- so although we will not be loosing contact with Debs, she won't be submitting to the design team any longer. Many, many thanks Debs from all of us, for all your wonderful creations, and for being such a supportive member of the design team to date. We all appreciate your lovely work and you will be a big loss to our design team.

Going back to this weeks dare, here's some of our ideas to get you inspired!

We Only Want to Help....

So, here we are, Tuesday already and time for our little reminder about this week's Dare, and a Little Extra just in case you're not already busy enough....
We are amazed at just how many things you've found so far to stamp with - look's like Keryn's Dare has really got you looking around your homes for stamping possibilies that you'd never considered before. There's still a few days to go, so if you haven't joined in yet there's still time - we really do love to see your cards.

Now, we'd like to help you out with your Christmas preparations this time so we're veering ever so slightly away from cards for this week's Little Extra - well of course, you've made, written and sent ALL your cards out by now, haven't you? (yeah right).
This week we'd like you to make 3 tags for your Christmas Presents using this list of words to help you; holly, gift, snowflake, ribbon, tree, silver
So hopefully this year your presents will be adorned with pretty handmade tags, and not just plain white sticky labels.....

See - I said we like to help;-)

Here are Jo and Keryn's to get you thinking, now it's over to you - just leave a message as usual and we'll be sure to come and see what you've made.

Stamping With A Twist

This week's challenge is set by Keryn and I want you to... Stamp with a Twist. Don't race out and grab your mounteds, unmouteds, polymer stamps or your stipple brushes and foam. I want you stamp with basically anything else but a commercially produced stamp. The Design Team have again worked really hard this week and have produced beautiful, creative and sometimes amusing work! Take a peek....
