Tessellation

Thank you to all who joined in with Kathy's pretty colour challenge last week - it was lovely to pop along to your blogs and see what you all created!
This week it's Leo here to bring you your next dare.......

'Tessellation'

I'd like you to create a card featuring a tessellating pattern. You can probably remember doing tessellation in math class at school right? Basically all you're doing is making a pretty pattern with shapes that fit together perfectly on all sides, like tiling. It's up to you how you interpret the dare so it could be a pattern on a paper already made or even a pattern you make yourself, have fun! :) x Leo

Marie Antoinette

Thanks to all of you that joined in with Rein's fabulous post theme last week. It was great to see so many fantastic cards.

This week's challenge:

I want to see your Vintage Parisian/Palace of Versailles creations as this week's theme is

Marie Antoinette

There are lots of possibilities with this theme - your card doesn't necessarily have to feature the Queen herself, but can be in a Baroque/Palace of Versailles style, or something inspired by the fantastic gowns and wigs she wore. Or, you could even opt for a 'let them eat cake' inspired card (even though she apparently never actually said that!)

Can't wait to see what you all come up with!

Post It!

Thanks to all of you that joined with us last week, what a lot of fabulous cards we had to see

It`s Rein here this week and my dare for you is
"postable" people
Please use things with a postage/mail theme such as postmen, postage stamps, parcel delivery or perhaps postage-inspired greetings on you card.

Have fun, and don't forget to come back and show us what you've made. Here are some ideas from the team to start you thinking!

Pretty hearts and paper doilies

It's lovely to see that so many of you enjoyed last week's dare.
There was definitely a lot of love in the air with those red and pink colour combinations!
This week's news:
Join us on our new
for info about DCM, plus hints and tips from our fab Design Team

This week's challenge:
With Valentine's Day just around the corner I wasn't about to let the opportunity for using my current two favourite design elements pass us by!

This week I want to see you make a card that features both...
Hearts and Doilies
There are so many ways to combine the two. Why not experiment and try something new?

Happy creating!
Nat
