August Colour Combo

Thank you to everyone who joined in with our "This is the House that Jack Built" challenge - what a fabulous array of cards, and so inspirational, too.

Gosh!  It's August already and the holiday season is in full swing, so if you notice a few gaps over the next few weeks - that's why!  As this is the first Friday of the month it's time for August's Colour Combination Challenge.

The House that Jack Built

 Hi, here we are - Friday again!

Thanks to those who joined in with Zuzana's challenge last week - it seems that it was definitely a tough challenge, but we believe the word "challenge" means that sometimes a little more effort is required, and maybe a step or two out of the comfort zone - so an even bigger Thank You to those who gave it a try.  Give yourselves a well-earned pat on the back!

It's Kathy here this week with a new challenge for you

I've taken the title of my challenge this week from an traditional British Nursery Rhyme that starts with the line:

 "This is the House that Jack Built"

You can read the whole rhyme HERE if you want to - it's far too long to copy here, but really it's just a nice title for a challenge that's all about Houses - or the walls, roof, doors, windows etc that you need to build a house.  Your card could show a whole house or just some of those - maybe just a door, or a window...it's up to you.  Just have fun and get creative

This week is Zuzana here and I think I've come up with a very interesting dare for you:

Fun with Pictograms

 With the  London Olympic games knocking on the door I came up with the idea to  create cards using pictograms, icons or silhouette signs. Choose sport, travel, washing or some other basic signs, print them out -  or if you prefer use die cuts, punches etc
Have some fun and get crafty!
