February Elemental

Hello, welcome to another new month!

Thank you to everybody who brightened up dull wintery days (in the northern hemisphere - those in the southern could probably do with a bit of cooling down!) by sharing colourful creations with us.

Joanne here with your Elemental Challenge for February. Have a look at this month's inspiration picture and choose at least three elements to kickstart your creation. Colour palette counts as one choice so if you go with the colours, pick at least two other things as well.

For the photo I put together a few things from my craft room as well as the sweater I'm wearing as I type this! If you're in the mood for a Valentine, you might see a heart shape lurking in those buttons but there are loads of other possibilities: jeans/denim, knitted texture, pearlescence, bottle, lace, scissors, pins, pocket...

Just Stamping

Hello everyone.

Thank you for playing along with last weeks challenge.  I hope the Elemental Inspiration Challenge helped kick start your crafting mojo with all those beautiful images.

Its Dawn here with this weeks challenge and its called

Just Stamping

I would like to see just stamping on your cards this weeks.  This means no embellishments, die cuts, papers etc...

For me this was a hard challenge so if you need to add something maybe a sequin or two please make sure that the stamping is the main focus of your card

So get out your stamps and your favourite ink pads and create.

January Elemental Inspiration Challenge

Happy New Year! 

We're back after the Christmas break and raring to get busy with new creative challenges - are you ready to join in? We can't wait to see what you'll be making this year.

Hi everyone, Sylvia here, I am hosting the January Elemental Challenge this week and would like to see you use at least three elements from the picture below. 

As we are beginning a new year a "New Beginnings" theme came to mind - New Year, new job, new baby, new home etc. but you can make whatever you like. 

 I chose the blues and browns, the bear, blue and brown textured fabric and the bow in the laces.

Let's Decorate!: Step Away From the Cards no 3

Thank you so much for sharing your cards with us last week,and for all you've shared over the year too.

December Elemental Inspiration

Hello there Crafters!
Welcome to The Daring Cardmakers Blog, we hope you'll rise to the challenge and join in with us this week.

Thank You to those who joined in last week and shared your box and bags ideas for our 2nd 'Step Away from the Cards' challenge

We're making cards again this week and as usual our first challenge of the month is an
 Elemental Inspiration Challenge.  
 For December we have a beautiful Christmas decor picture which we hope will inspire you.
 There are lots of elements to choose from and you just need to pick a minimum 3  to use when making your card.  If you choose to use the colour palette, then that would count as one of your elements

Suggested elements include; Tree, Brickwork, Ship, Snowflakes, Baubles, Stockings, Gifts, Books, Mirror, Greenery, Succulent Plants, Tray of Nibbles
