Black and White Christmas cards with a splash of colour

The next three weeks dares have been thought up by the design team collectively, and because we didn't want to add to your pressures over the Christmas period- we thought we'd come up with a few 'not too challenging' dares, just to get us through this busy time. We have themed the cards appropriate to the time of year so that you might be able to kill two birds with one stone and actually use them soon (so Kathy will be happy ) !

On a sad note- unfortunately we are losing our lovely Debs from the design team. Debs, has for the time being decided to put her card making to one side to allow her to concentrate on other areas of her life- so although we will not be loosing contact with Debs, she won't be submitting to the design team any longer. Many, many thanks Debs from all of us, for all your wonderful creations, and for being such a supportive member of the design team to date. We all appreciate your lovely work and you will be a big loss to our design team.

Going back to this weeks dare, here's some of our ideas to get you inspired!

Remember - There are two ways to show us your creations:1. Leave a message on the blog and we'll come and look. We'll also add a link to the sidebar to make it easy for readers to visit your site and see what you've been up to.2. We also have a gallery ready and waiting for non-blogger's cards. Just email your pictures to daringcardmakers@hotmail.co.uk and as soon as they've been OK'd they'll appear on the gallery. Please remember to add your name, the dare your card is for and your website info if you have one. If you can tell us how you came across The Daring Cardmakers that would be great too.Thank you to everyone who shares their cards with us, they are all amazing and we really do appreciate the work you all put into each and every dare that we do.

Having only bimbled over to this site for the first time a few days ago, I'm loving it already, and I'm really looking forward to doing as many of the dares as I can.

I needed to make DH a Christmas card, and this challenge gave me the perfect jumping off point, so thanks for the inspiration. It's over on my blog in the entry for Dec 21st.
