Balloons

Thank you to everyone who played along with last weeks 'Fools Gold' challenge from Sharon, (do you always do the Ian Brown 'Fooooolls Gold' voice saying that too, oh just me, OK then....)

Hi Leo here to bring you a new challenge for a new week, the last week in January in fact, how fast has that gone!
This week I'd like you to create a card featuring:
Balloons
It can be a real one if you're feeling really creative or else a die cut, sticker, stamp, anything you want to use that features a balloon/s. :)
Here's this weeks creations from the design team to kick start your creating and don't forget you can add a link to your creation below.

If you want to share your work in other ways you can use Instagram adding the #daringcardmakers to your post and there's a Facebook page too at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Daring-Cardmakers/340001726032698

Fool's Gold

Hi everyone
It's Sharon here with this week's challenge.  Firstly thanks to everyone who joined in Jo's 'Leaf it Alone' dare last week, there was some great inspiration.

This week, the theme is
 '"Fool's Gold'
  I'd like to see gold featured heavily in your design - either gold embossing powder, gold cardstock, glitter, gold foil, gold paint - anything you can think of as long as it's gold!    Rose gold is my favourite thing ever, so you can have bonus points if you manage to feature rose gold.

Here's some inspiration from the design team to get you started:

Leaf It Alone!

Thank you to every on who joined in our first dare of the year - it was brilliant to see how  the elements inspired in different ways :)

It's Jo back again this week with another dare!  This week I would like to see you;

Leaf It Alone!

All too often the humble leaf is upstaged by flowers on our cards so I would like to see you make the leaf the star!

Can't wait to see what you create!

Here's how the design team were inspired by foliage;

January's Inspiration Picture

Happy New Year!

Hi, it's Jo here with the first card dare for 2016 and another Elemental Inspiration challenge,here's my picture to inspire this month;

Here are my Element Suggestions for this picture:
tape, glitter, cake cases, colours, stamps, ric rac, stars, sequins, hearts twine etc.!

Remember you need to use at least THREE different elements and the colour combination can only count as ONE of those elements

So that's your challenge this week and I can't wait to see how you use this fabulous picture to make your own Elementally Inspired card.  It would be especially good if you could add a list of the elements you used to your blog post so we can all see where your inspiration came from

Here's how the Team rose to the challenge this week;

All Wrapped Up!

Hello, Welcome to the last Daring Cardmakers challenge of 2015!
A huge thank you to those who joined in with Lythan's challenge to make a card using a language other than the one you generally use - how interesting was that then?

Now, before we head off for our annual Christmas and New Year break here's  a challenge which will last all the way till our next Daring Date: 8th January 2016.
We thought this one offered the chance for last minute Christmas cards, but also New Year or Winter Birthday cards
All Wrapped Up
So, feel free to think "outside the (gift) box" LOL  though gift boxes, wrapping paper, ribbons and bows are all fine of course....or maybe you'll choose to use mittens, gloves and scarves for wrapping up on a cold day?  How about a pair of big fluffy slippers?
Whatever you decide, please come and share your creations with us - the InLinkz gadget will stay open for you to use all the way till 10am (UK time) on January 8th, when Jo will be here with your January Elemental Inspiration Picture.

We'd like to take this chance to wish you all a
Wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year!!

Here are some ideas from the team - sorry it looks a bit "thin" at the moment -
hopefully we'll have more to share soon!

Joyeux Noel

Hello, Lythan here today with the new challenge and to say a big Thank You to all who joined in with the December Elemental Inspiration challenge last week.  We loved Dawn's choice of picture and we loved all the lovely cards you made

This week we're going multi-lingual.......
 Joyeux Noel
I'd like you to make a card that features a language that isn't the one you normally use.

Despite the title, it doesn't have to be for Christmas - it can be for another occasion if you like.
Here's what the team have made this week to help inspire you
