It's All About Me!!

Before we tell you about this week's Dare we'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who entered our 'No Calories' Dare last week. There were some fabulous entries and now it's time to name our winner who will receive their choice of 5 digital stamps or 4 digital stamps and 1 digital paper set from Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps and More.

Out of all the entries last week there were 10 of you who met the criteria to win the prize and we kept your names in order of entry and used random org to pick a number (from 1-10) - which was Number 10

So the winner is:-

SHARON (Cards by Request)

Congratulations Sharon Please e-mail Kathy (you can find her e-mail address on her blog) so that she can arrange for you to get your prize.

This week it's Asia here and I would like you to make a card for... yourself! Use your special papers (the ones that you stash away for Queen's birthday and you know you won't use them anyway, because they're too pretty), your favourite stamps and embellishments. Make a card that will stay with you and write inside something that has a meaning to you, that gives you power and energy. Make a card, that you've never got.

We're really looking forward to seeing the cards you make for yourself so don't forget to leave a link for us to come and have a look.

Snowdrops and Carnations.....

Happy New Year!

It seems such a long time since we celebrated Christmas "Down-Under" style with Keryn's beach themed challenge, but a big thank you to all of you who threw off the Winter chill and enjoyed some fun in the sun with us. It was great to see your cards.

So, on to a whole new year of DCM dares, we're hope you're ready and raring to go!

Once again we've decided to set aside the first dare of each month to feature a theme that will run throughout the year. For 2011 we'll be taking inspiration from the flowers associated with each month, and the flowers associated with the month of January are the Snowdrop and the Carnation.

So we'd love to see cards made using one or both of these flowers as the starting point for your creations..

You can use the flowers, their special features or maybe do a little research and use the stories and symbolism associated with them as your inspiration.

We're looking forward to seeing your creations, so please come and let us know where we can see them.
Here are some cards from the team to help get you thinking
