Whatever the Weather

Thank goodness it's Friday...

... about time to make some cards!

But first things first: which is of course a big "thank you!" to everyone who shared their square-themed creations last week. Not as easy a theme as one might think at first (well, not for me at least) but you all mastered it perfectly.

This week especially the weather has been very varied in my area here in western Germany. We literally had it all: snow, sunshine, rain... no hail, though. So I guess the theme I thought up for you fit's just fine:

No Matter the Weather :-)

Get out your wellies and umbrellas, snowflakes, rainbows and parasols and make a weather-themed card!

You really need some extra-inspiration? Well, of course the Design Team members have been busy to prepare some beautiful examples to get you started:

You're So Square

Happy Friday!

It's DT Shabneez here today and to begin I'd like to thank those of you who joined in with the Bagel dare last week.

for this week I have chosen:

You're So Square!

Use squares on your cards - the more the better!  You could use a square card base, apertures, stamps or stencils.  Show me how you can use squares creatively!

Here's some amazing inspiration from the Design Team to get your creative juices flowing:

It's Bagel Day!

Hi everyone!

It's Nat here bringing you this week's challenge.

But first we'd like to thank everyone who played along with the January elemental inspiration dare last week. :)

It's always great to see such a mix of projects for those challenges.

And as for this week's dare...

Apparently it's National Bagel Day in the US of A today, so I'm challenging you to celebrate that round food favourite by featuring a circle / circle frame / circle aperture as the main focal point of your card.

But should you happen to have a bagel or even a donut in your stash, it's definitely a good excuse to include that on your card!

And of course make sure you enjoy a bagel today! ;)

Here are some wonderful project ideas from the design team:

Jan Elemental Inspiration

Hello everyone and Happy New Year to you all.  We hope that you had a lovely Christmas and wish you all the very best for the year ahead.

Its Dawn here with this weeks challenge.

We are starting things off with an elemental inspiration challenge as its the first Friday of the month.

I have picked this lovely mood board with lots of wintery images.  I think I am still hanging onto Christmas just a little bit but the mood board looks so warm and cosy, which is perfect for this time of year.

So if your new year resolution was to get ahead with your Christmas cards then this is a great place to start.

Remember to select three elements from the image below.

Happy Crafting and we can't wait to see what you create.
