Blended backgrounds

Thank you for sharing your fun takes on last week's dare!

This week, I'm challenging you to get inky with some
DIY blended backgrounds.

The recent Distress Oxide releases have made it much more appealing for me to create blended backgrounds of my own rather than just use patterned paper. There are so many pretty colours that work together and so many possibilities for projects. I've finally started using my Distress Inks for more than just stamping.

If you have inks, paints, pastels, crayons in your stash then it's time to get them out and get creative! Sky-inspired backgrounds are always a winner, but the possibilities don't end there.

I look forward to seeing your take on this challenge!

To get you started, here's what the design team came up with this week:

City girl? Or country girl?

Thank you for sharing your pastel rainbows with us last week. We enjoyed your creations a lot!

This week let’s get to know each other a little bit better 😉 and let me ask the curious question:
Are you a city girl? Or a country girl?

What do you like about (living in) the city or the country?
Neon lights, public transport, lots of people, high buildings and a diverse nightlife make you happy?
Or do you need nature, calm, being outside and maybe having your own piece of „green“?

Here are the Design Teams‘ cards. I think you can see at the first glance who are the city and the country girls.

Let’s celebrate our life, no matter where we live or where we would like to live!
Happy crafting!

Pastel Rainbow

 Hello Lovely Crafters!

Thank you so much for joining in with us last week, it was lovely to see the way you used your chosen elements from Leo's picture

This week it's Sharon's turn to set the new challenge and it's got absolutely nothing to do with the strong reds, yellows and oranges of Autumn, but it is colour-based.
Pastel Rainbow
I would love to see a beautiful rainbow on your cards this time - but made from pastel colours.

Check out this soft and pretty array of pastel rainbow shades on the Team's cards for inspiration!

Looking forward to seeing what you make.

October's Elemental Inspiration

Hello there Crafters!

We are back with a new challenge for you - but we always like to say "Thank You" first to those who joined in with us last week.  We hope you enjoyed giving thanks with Shabneez's lovely "Harvest Home" theme - those cards were good enough to eat, weren't they?

As usual our first challenge of the month is our Elemental Inspiration Challenge.  For October Leo has put together a little mood board for you and we hope you'll find plenty of inspiration to draw your three elements from.

Just pick at least 3 elements from the picture to use when making your card

suggestions; Dark nights, the moon, washi tape, Kraft card, stripes,

Here is what the team made this week. animals, strawberries
