Creating Gift Tags (Step Away From the Cards no 2)

Hello, and welcome to The Daring Cardmakers!  
Before anything else, we want to say a big Thank You to everyone who joined in and shared their cards inspired by Christmas Songs and Carols - what a lovely time we had seeing them all!

It's another  "Step Away From the Cards" challenge this week -

Our end of the year Crafting Party where we are mixing up our usual card challenges with some other crafting challenges

Step Away From the Cards no. 2 is a simple one:

Make a Tag

Just make and decorate a tag or label for a gift -

 remember, it doesn't even have to be Christmas-themed.

A Musical Christmas

Gift Bag or Box - Step Away From the Cards no 1

We thought we'd have a bit of a Crafting Party for the end of the year.  So for the next few weeks, we'll be mixing up our usual card challenges with some other crafting items, and we'd love to see what you make!

We've called these non-card dares "Step Away From the Cards" and this week we have the first of them:

Gift Bag or Box

We'd just like you to make or decorate a box or gift bag - it doesn't even have to be Christmas-themed, then share your creations with us via the InLinkz gadget as usual.

November Elemental Inspiration

Hi everyone!

Thanks to all who shared their Sparkle and Shine creations with us last week - what a wonderful, dazzling challenge that was!

We're really pleased to welcome Shabneez, (aka Happy Hijabi) back to the team as Guest Designer this month, and to let you know that Joanne has agreed to join us on a permanent basis.  
This is sure to bring a new breath of freshness to the blog.

It's the first Friday of a new month, so time for a brand new Elemental Inspiration challenge, and for November we have this wonderful colourful photograph to inspire us.
All you need to do is choose at least THREE elements from the photo and use them on your own creation.

Here are just a few suggestions to help get you thinking:
