 Hello everyone and welcome back to another Daring Cardmakers Challenge. Firstly we would like to thank everyone who took part in last weeks Big On Backgrounds challenge. It was lovely to see all your beautiful creations.
Its Rizwana here with this weeks new challenge and as its not long until Halloween, I would love to see some of your scary creations.

Bring out your scary ghosts, witches, monsters, bats, spiders or any other ghoulish characters to be displayed on your cards this week. Ok ok they can be cute too. You may use the usual Halloween colours such as purple, orange and green OR try something different.

Big on Backgrounds

Morning everyone!

It's Nat here bringing you this week's challenge, but first thank you to everyone who joined in with our October elemental inspiration dare last week!

I want to see you create your own background design/print/pattern for your card.

Get creative with stencils, stamps (big and small), dies, and create a background that really stands out.

It's also the perfect opportunity to get stuck into some festive cardmaking too!

Changing Seasons 

I just love this time of year with the change of the season when we slowly see the colder temperatures and the beautiful colours of nature.  

So I would like you to create a card that reflects the change of the season.  

This could be something autumnal, maybe for Halloween or even a festive creation as we approach Christmas.

Comfort and Hope

Thank you for visiting the Daring Cardmakers.  This has been a sad and reflective time for so many of us.  We have a special theme for this week's cards and we hope you will join us

Comfort and Hope
As we say goodbye to Queen Elizabeth II we can’t help but think about 

sadness and loss.
Condolence/Sympathy cards are some of the hardest we make but

 the comfort these messages bring is immeasurable
 

So this week's challenge is to make a card to bring comfort and hope to

 anyone going through a difficult time.
It doesn’t have to be because of a death, many people have times of

 hopelessness and sadness when a beautiful card and a message of 

comfort can help raise the spirits

In the Forest

 

I’m not sure if you are ready for autumn yet 😉…

But here’s my, Miri’s, next topic to get you crafting:

In the forest

Use some elements on your card that you can find in a forest: forest animals, plants, trees, paths, etc. or create a forest scene (a realistic one or a fairytale?!) on your card.

I love forests and I think they are great in any season: cool in summer, so colourful in autumn, calm in winter and fresh and busy in spring. I can’t wait to see what you associate with forests.

September Elemental Inspiration Challenge

Thank you for sharing your loooooooooooong cards with us last week.

This week it’s my, Miri’s, turn to set a crafty challenge for you.

As always on the first Friday in every month we have an inspirational picture for you:

Pick three elements and use them on your card.
