The June Flowers are.....

Thank you to everyone for making such a fabulous array of cards for Zuzana's "Passion for Fashion" challenge last weekThanks again to Imagine That... for donating the stamp sets we're giving away.

Here's what Lythan says about the store - which is her local craft shop and where she teaches some classes:

Imagine That..

"... a fabulous giveaway from my most generous, lovely and talented local craft shop owner - Emma of Imagine That. It is a lovely shop (both real and online) and the classes there are many and varied (even if some people's tend to over-run. That would be me). One of the best things about it is the shop-designed clear stamps. I have clear stamps from other places that have started to show wear and tear but Emma's are still going strong."

We'll do the draw for our prizes and be back to announce the winners just as soon as possible, so if you made a card and added the links as required, please check back to see if you are one of the winners - while you wait, why not click this LINK and explore Imagine That's online store ;-)

This week we return to our First Friday of the Month series of Flower challenges. The flowers for June are

Roses and Honeysuckle

so we'd like you to take one or both of those flowers as your inspiration for your crafting.. With flowers like that to base your cards around we know we're in for a treat this week and we can't wait to see what you come up with.

Here are the cards our DT have been making to help get your creative juices flowing!

Happy Crafting!

Passion For Fashion

Thank you to everyone who joined in with Samm's Chasing Cars challenge last week; your cards were truly stunning and we loved seeing how the song inspired you.

Just before we get to this week's challenge we have BIG news!

Our recent DT Call-Out was a huge success. We had a ball visiting all the blogs of the fabulous applicants and getting to know them and their crafting. It was impossible to choose just two new Teamies, so in the end we chose FOUR! The very worst thing about doing this Call-Out was having to leave any of our lovely new friends off the final list - so we'll be inviting as many as we can to come and be Guest Designers over the next few months

We are delighted to introduce our amazing, talented new Design Team members.

Fran, Keilly, Leo and Sharon

We know they are going to bring a breath of fresh air to the Daring Cardmakers and we hope you will visit their blogs to see their crafting and get to know them better.

We've already put them to work and, their first creations can be seen this week.

To celebrate their arrival and also Zuzana's very first turn at dare-setting we have prizes from a brand new sponsor, the fabulous online and "bricks and mortar" craft shop:

Imagine That Shop Link

Join in this week, make sure you follow the rules, and you may be lucky enough to win one of three stamp sets from Imagine That in our Random Draw

Here are the rules:

1. add links to Imagine That and The Daring Cardmakers

2. link to no more than 5 other challenges.

So, are you ready to craft now?

 Passion For Fashion

This week it's me Zuzana setting our dare for my very first time, so I hope you like what I have come up with!

I would like you to be a fashion designer and create some wow factor dress, shoes, handbags, lingerie . . . whatever you like from fashion.

This is what your Fashion Design Team have made for your inspiration.

Don't forget to link back your own creations and leave a comment too as we look forward to seeing them.

HAPPY CRAFTING

Chasing Cars

Hello everyone, thank you to everyone who joined in last weeks challenge, the response was amazing, so keep it coming as we appreciate seeing everything you created.

We've now got the very difficult task of choosing which of our DT Call Applicants will be invited to join us on our team - we'll be as quick as we can, we promise!

CHASING CARS - SNOW PATROL

Hi, It's Samm here, and I've set this week's challenge to use the song 'Chasing Cars' by Snow Patrol as the inspiration for your cards.

If you're not familiar with the song, then here's a links to the lyrics:
Chasing Cars - Snow Patrol

It means a lot to me, so I'd love to see what you all come up with, so don't forget to get your linking fingers on and show us what you've created!!!

The Darling BUGS of May!

Well, it's a bit later than usual, but we're happy to be here and glad that the people at Blogger have managed to fix their problems - it's been a very strange Friday with no bloggers to visit!

Thanks to everyone who joined in with our Flowers of May Dare last week as always you all rose to the challenge wonderfully.

It's Lynda here and it's my turn to set the Dare for this week:-

The Darlin' BUGS of May

I'd like to see some BUGS eg ladybirds, bees, spiders, caterpillars, butterflies, dragonflies - it would be lovely to see them taking centre stage on your card or be used as a lovely embellishment but I won't accept them if they're just printed onto your backing papers as that wouldn't be a challenge at all!
Our dare this week also forms the second stage of our DT Call - we will be looking out for the cards made by those who sent us an application during stage one  We had a lot of interest and it's proving very difficult to decide who our new Teamies will be so we're especially looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with this week

We hope you like the idea of this week's challenge, here's what the Team have been making this week to help inspire you. : Please come back and leave us a link to your card when you're ready to share your creation - and don't forget to leave a comment too as we love to hear what you think.

Happy Crafting

The Flowers for May

Thanks to everyone who joined in with our Royal Celebration last week - what a fabulous day it was. We hope you enjoyed seeing all the Pomp and Ceremony surrounding the Wedding of Prince William and Catherine. It was also wonderful to visit all your blogs to see how the theme inspired you in your crafting.

This week is exciting too as we welcome a brand new Guest Designer to the team, we'd like to introduce you to

Kissinia,

who is coming all the way from Russia ;) to share her fabulous crafting skills We love her work and we're sure you will too.

The first Dare of each month this year is given over to the flowers associated with that month. The flowers associated with the Marvellous Month of May are:

the Hawthorn and the Lily of the Valley

So that's your starting point for this week, please use one or both of these lovely flowers as your inspiration - we are really looking forward to seeing what you create, so please remember to come and leave a link and a comment when you're ready to share.
