Forgotten Treasures

Thanks for taking part in last week’s dare. It was great  to see what you found in your itty bitty jars!

It's Miri here and this week, and I'd like you to have a close look at your craft stash and dig out those
Forgotten Treasures
Craft items (stamps, paper, embossing folders etc.) that you bought or got as a present … that are still waiting to be used because you completely forgot about them or never found the time to use them.

And I hope that I’m not the only one who has got some of these treasures in her craft cupboard.

Have a look at the design team’s beautiful creations and then start the treasure hunt …
Happy crafting!

Itty Bitty Jar

Hello There!  Hope you enjoyed the Festival of flowers last week .... flowers always bring a smile to my face!

This week's theme is ......

Itty Bitty Jar

More than likely you have a jar or container that sits on your craft table where you pop all those little bits that are just left on the desk and don't have a home, or we run out of time to do a proper clear up :)  So the dare this week is to make a card featuring at least 5 items from that jar!

Here is what the Design Team have created from their jars for a wee bit of inspiration

A festival of flowers

After last weeks lovely colour combo I do hope that you will also enjoy the challenge for this one.

The theme is
flower festival
There is going to be a flower festival at Lythan's church next week and everyone is working hard on their arrangements.
So I would love to see a festival of flowers on your card - or if you have hay fever perhaps just one!
Have a look at the beauties the team have come up with this week

June Colour Combo

Welcome to a new month and a new colour challenge here on the Daring Cardmakers blog!

It's Jo here to share this month's colour combination, and before I share the colours for this month, may I say a big thank you to everyone who joined in with Kathy's fabulous Make It Yourself challenge.

Onto our colour combo for June - As summer begins this month, I thought that it would be fun to have some ice cream colours, a mix of cools and brights that compliment the lovely warm weather that we have been having in the UK recently;

We're looking forward to seeing what you make using this gorgeous colour palette, so please come back and leave us a message when you're ready to share.

Have fun

Make It Yourself

We loved seeing all the "Plant a Tree" cards you shared last week.  What a wonderful tour around your blogs we had - thank you so much for joining in with Zuzana's fab challenge.

This week it's Kathy here with something for you to get creative with.
I think we've probably all saved links to wonderful projects and ideas that we'd like to try out....one day, so this week I'd like you to.....
 Make It Yourself
It's all about making your own embellishments. You can use one of those saved "I'll try this one day" ideas, or come up with your own decorative element and use it on your card.
Use felt, card, paper, fabric, ribbon, lace, wire - anything you like, but no cheating and using a ready made one LOL
If the idea is your own, it would be especially good if you could add a little tutorial when you add it to your blog, and if not then a link to where you found the idea would be great, so we can all be inspired!

Have fun, and don't forget to come and leave your link when you're ready to share!

It's Zuzana here this week.
As we learned at school trees are essential to life.
They come in all variety of shapes and sizes and they look so interesting throughout the year. So

Let's Plant a Tree!

I would like to see trees on your cards. It's completely up to you what kind of technique, colours and material you will use. Can't wait to see your creations!

Here are some inspirations from our Design Team :
