Oriental Splendour

By way of thanking everyone who took part in Lythan’s Paper Passion Dare last week and for sharing all your wonderful cards with us, I (Sue) thought I would treat you all to a Chinese Take Away, if you’re up for it.

No, I’m not talking about food……I’m talking about my dare!

Oriental Splendour

I would like you to make a card with an Oriental influence and the ‘Take Away’ I referred to is the twist in the tail.

When ever Oriental is mentioned most people, including myself immediately reach for Red and Black so I’m taking them away from you and removing them from the pallet of colours that you can use on your card.

So to recap:-

I dare you to make an Oriental themed card which doesn’t use Red or Black.

When you’ve finished your card don’t forget to leave us a comment so we can come and see your creations and remember, if you don’t have a blog you can still play along.
Email your card to and we will pop it on the gallery and we look forward to seeing all your creations

Here are some cards from the team to help get your creative juices flowing and we all look forward to seeing your creations.

Have Fun!

I LOVE making oriental cards! What a great challenge!

I'm assuming the red/black ban applies to the main color scheme and we're still allowed black outlines for the stamped images?

You can see mine at Kitchen Table Crafter

Have a nice week all! :)
