Paper Piecing

Hi, it's Sharon here with our last dare before Christmas.  You'll be pleased to know that this dare could work for Christmas if you need it to!

Firstly, thanks to everyone that joined in with last week's Monkeying Around dare.   Some of those cards were seriously cute!
We are very sad this week because our lovely friend and colleague Rein has decided to step down from the team - this will be her last dare with us.
Rein has been such a wonderful and dedicated team member for so long - since way back in the summer of 2008 - and she's very, very rarely missed a challenge.
Her fabulous, often quirky style has been an inspiration and a joy, and although we are very sad to see her go we wish her well with whatever she does - and we'll be sure to keep up with her crafting journey via her BLOG.

Good Luck Lovely Rein,
Thank You for all the inspiration you've given us
- we will miss you xxx

So, back to this week - don't forget our Christmas-time draw;
if you take part in last week's or this week's dare you can be entered into the draw for a fabulous prize from:

Everyone who enters a card will be entered in our prize draw to win a

£10 Gift Voucher

The winner will be drawn on the 4th January 2013 - which is the date of our first dare in the New year

As well as entering a card, to qualify for entry to our prize draw you must also add links for
The Ribbon Reel and the Daring Cardmakers
in the main body of your blog post

Don't forget to check out The Ribbon Reel shop for those last minute Christmas purchases or something to start off your Crafty New Year!

Right, onto this week's challenge:

Paper Piecing

I'd like to see some paper piecing on your card this week.  You can either stamp an image onto various patterned paper to create a paper pieced image, or you could use die cuts from different papers to create a background or image.

And you've got even longer to take part this time as we'll be taking a break for Christmas.  The next dare will be Friday 4 January.

So Happy Christmas from everyone on the Daring Cardmakers team, and we can't wait to see your creations over the Christmas break.

And to get you started, here's some inspiration from the team:
