Just My Type

Morning all!

It's Nat here bringing you this week's dare.

But first, thank you to everyone who joined in with our Garden Bugs challenge last week!

For the last challenge of the month, I'd like to see you feature a typewriter or  typewriter-style fonts on your card.

I have a much-loved typewriter set that is my go-to for fun and special cards, and I absolutely love the look of type-written sentiments. They work perfectly for so many designs from the clean and simple to the super ornate.

Here's how the design team interpreted this challenge:

Garden Bugs

Happy Friday!

It's Shabneez here and I'd like to thank those of you that joined in with the masculine challenge last week - they were amazing!

I have been spending a lot of time in the garden recently so I decided to incorporate it into my challenge this week.  It's the time of year when a variety of bugs visit gardens so I'd love to see which bugs are in yours!

You'll see some wonderful inspiration from the Design Team below and we look forward to seeing your bug creations!

Make it Masculine

Hello everyone and welcome to another weekly challenge.

Its Dawn here to share this weeks dare but first we would all like to say thank you to everyone that joined in last week with the everything's coming up roses challenge from our lovely Joanne.

Make It Masculine

As it is fathers day on 18th June I would like to see a masculine card to celebrate the men folk.  It doesn't have to be for fathers day but I know we all struggle with a more masculine card so lets have some made for the card stash.

Happy crafting.

Everything's coming up roses

Hello crafters

Thanks for playing along with our elemental challenge last week!

Everything's Coming up Roses

It’s Joanne here this week and as roses are one of the two birth flowers for June, this week we’d like to see roses somewhere on your project.

If you’re not in the mood for flowers there’s another way to play; Yellow roses symbolise friendship so include yellow in your colour palette with any image or technique you like as a nod to crafty friendships.

Extra brownie points if you manage both and show us yellow roses!

June Elemental Inspiration

 Hello Lovely Crafting Friends!

It was so good to see so much beachy inspiration and wonderful ways to add seashells to your cards last week - thank you so much for sharing your creativity!

It's Kathy here this time with the

June Elemental Challenge.

I love all turquoise and aqua shades and as gold goes so well with them, I've based my mood-board around those colours. I've added 'pops' of  other colours too because it seems to me that turquoise makes every other colour look better!

All you need to do is choose 3 elements from the board to use when you make your card. If you use them, the colour combo would count as 1.

You can see the wonderful inspiration from the Design Team below:

Suggestions: Layout, Drink, Flower, Greenery, Metalwork,

Wood Textures, Bottles, Mosaic...

Seashells On The Seashore

 Hello crafty friends!!

It's Rizwana here with this weeks challenge but first I would like to thank everyone who took part in last weeks Sunshine challenge. It was lovely to see all your beautiful sunny creations. Now that the weather has started to warm up I'm sure lots of you will be heading to the beach!! So I thought to keep with the summer vibe, I would call this weeks challenge:

Seashells on the Seashore

Create a card with seashells. Use images, dies, stamps or even real seashells on your cards this week. You can even draw or doodle your own seashells. Have fun creating!!

Here is some amazing DT inspiration.

Sunshine!

Thanks for sharing your "crowning glory“ creations with us!

This week I want you to celebrate and enjoy

SUNSHINE

and hopefully this will encourage the sun to show up a bit more often in the next few weeks and months 😊.

Put a sun, bright yellow circles or sun rays on your card. It might be a sun as a focal point or in the background or as part of a scene.

So dig out your dies, stamps etc. and send some sunshine into the world!

(And after your crafty session go outside and enjoy some sunshine!)

Here are some sunny examples from the design team:

Crowning Glory

 Hello Crafty Friends

Welcome to the weekly challenge from the team at the Daring Cardmakers.

We hope you've had a lovely week and found time to get some crafting done!

A big, well-deserved  thank you to everyone that joined in last week with Shabneez's Fabulously Fruity May elemental inspiration challenge . we loved seeing what you made.

Its Kathy here and this week with this challenge:

 Crowning Glory
The phrase Crowning Glory is often used to describe that extra bit of panache

that makes something look realty special!

I'd like to see that reflected on your cards this week.

So as we've just celebrated the coronation of King Charles III, you could add a crown to your cards, or perhaps your 'Crowning Glory' will be a fabulous hairstyle or a wonderfully flamboyant hat. or something spectacular that adds extra pizazz.

Here's some wonderful inspiration

May Elemental Inspiration

Happy Friday!

It's Shabneez here and it was lovely to see lots of bunches of different items that you shared last week so thank you very much!

This week I was tasked with choosing the inspiration for the

May Elemental Challenge.

The picture I chose has lots of fruit, straws, bold colours, paint smears etc.  You choose 3 elements from it for your card and colours count as 1.  You can see the wonderful inspiration from the Design Team below:
