Foiled!

Hi all - Jo here to dare you this week, we'd all like to say a big "Thank you" to everyone who's joined in with Kathy's "Hide and seek" dare and I would like to say a huge thank you to the DCM girls for stepping in with a last minute Little Extra this week and thank you to all of you who joined in.

My dare this week is 'Foiled!' -I would like you to utilise some plain old aluminium (aluminum for our friends across the pond!) foil from your kitchen :). You can scrunch it, die cut it, emboss it, ink it, coil it, cover chipboard - or anything else that you choose!

Remember to leave a comment so we can pop over to see your foiled creations.

We do visit every Blog and try to leave as many comments as possible. There are so many amazing creations that we can't all leave a comment - we hope you understand.

You can still join in the fun if you don't have a Blog, just send a Photo/scan to the team at;

daringcardmakers@hotmail.co.uk

and your creation will be added to our Gallery for all to see.

This week also - we are lucky to be able to offer a spot prize to one of our lucky contributors! The prize has very kindly been supplied by Paper Pesto ! The prize consists of a selection of some yummy papers and embellishments from their delicious January kit. Paper Pesto kits are always inspirational- so make sure you find time to pop over and have a browse of their web site and the blog too !
All you have to do to qualify for the spot prize is join in and make a card for this weeks dare. We will announce the winner who will be picked at random next week. Good luck and remember - you have to be in to win ! Thanks once again to Kate and the rest of the team at Paper Pesto.

***And theres more !....We have fab news to share with all our DCM friends - our lovely Saffa gave birth to beautiful baby girls on Saturday 19th - huge congratulations Saffa and family - and welcome to the world little Zaynab Niloofar and Tasneem Zahra.***

Hi everyone - mine's on my blog. This was a great task for inspiring me to get on - thanks Jo. Love all your cards girls. Kathy - those hearts are really gorgeous. Would love a bit more detail on how they were done.

For the person who asked about embossing the foil before or after adding to the chipboard, I stuck my foil to some thin card and then embossed from the back of the card.
