It's Kathy here, and for my challenge I'm hoping you'll come with me on a little trip down Memory Lane
Inspired by the song "What a Wonderful World"
My dad introduced me to the Louis Armstrong song "What a Wonderful World"and whenever I hear it I think of him. He passed on to me the love of Satchmo's voice and this song in particular and this
week I'd like you to be inspired by the lyrics when you make your card.
You can use the whole beautiful planet, or maybe choose one or more lines from
the song to use
Here are the lyrics for the song, and you can listen to it HERE
"What A Wonderful World"
I see trees of green, red roses too.
I see them bloom, for me and you.
And I think to myself,
"What A Wonderful World"
I see trees of green, red roses too.
I see them bloom, for me and you.
And I think to myself,
What a wonderful world.
I see skies of blue, and clouds of white.
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night.
And I think to myself,
What a wonderful world.
The colours of the rainbow, so pretty in the sky.
Are also on the faces, of people going by,
I see friends shaking hands.saying, "How do you do?"
They're really saying; "I love you".
I hear babies cry, I watch them grow,
They'll learn much more, than I'll ever know.
And I think to myself,
What a wonderful world.
Yes, I think to myself,
What a wonderful world.
Have fun - and I really hope you'll be singing this great song all day long!
