Showers and Flowers

Hello Cardmakers,

thanks for joining us last week, we loved seeing all the takes on the letter M!

Showers and Flowers

It’s Joanne here with this week’s challenge. It seems to have done nothing but rain here in the UK for weeks! That does mean that everything in the garden is doing well so this week I’d like to see you being inspired by showers and/or flowers. Your card might represent rain or use a technique that involves spraying water, it might be floral — extra brownie points if both showers and flowers get a look in!

Here's some inspiration from the design team.

M is for…

 Hello, Happy Friday!

A big Thank You to those who joined in with Shabneez's Let's Hear it for the Boys challenge last week - its always good to have a few masculine cards tucked away, isn't it?  Maybe you'll get at least one more made this week too!

                    M is for May,

                                      but what else?

This week, please feature one of more 'things' beginning with the initial M. Perhaps a colour (Mauve, Mango?),
a technique (Masking, Mosaics?),
An image (Milkshake, Map?)
a theme (Masculine, Music etc)
or maybe simply use a Monogram

Don't forget to share, and to let us know which 'M' items you've used!

Here are our ideas for this time

Postal Perfection

Morning everyone!

It's Nat here bringing you a brand-new challenge in time for the weekend!

But first, thank you to those of you who played along with our elemental inspiration challenge for May. x

This week, I'm shamelessly combining the theme of my challenge with my crafty to-do list.

I recently finally took the plunge and invested in the very popular and creative Postage Collage series from Waffle Flower. Postal-themed supplies have been around for a while and it's always nice to give them a fresh lease of life.

So why not make a card with a postal theme?

You can use your own Postage Collage supplies if you have them, feature postage stamps and dies, cancellation marks, vintage postcards and actual stamps, air mail borders, and anything used to write and send a letter!

So many possibilities!

I look forward to seeing what you make.

Happy crafting!
