Larkspur and Water Lily

Thanks to everyone who's played along with Lythan's "Old, New, Borrowed and Blue" challenge over the last week - what a fabulous array of cards we saw!
Before we move on to the new theme we have a couple of "news items" to share. First of all we'd like like to introduce you to
who is our fabulous new Guest Designer for the month of July. We are so thrilled to have her with us and we're sure you'll love seeing her gorgeous cards too.
Our second piece of news is that we have a wonderful prize donated by our sponsor this week: online store Crimson Cloud, to offer one lucky winner this week.
Click HERE to visit the Crimson Cloud online store
There are only 3 rules for entering our random draw:
1. Make a card for this week's challenge and link it back to here
2. Show it on your blog and add links to tell everyone about Crimson Cloud and The Daring Cardmakers
3. You may only enter your card for 5 other challenges
And this is the prize you could win:
Now on to this week's challenge....
As this is the first Dare of the month we're looking to the flowers associated with the new month of July for our card-making inspiration:
the Larkspur and the Water Lily
We'd love you to join in and play along with us, using either one or even both of these lovely flowers as your starting point - we are really looking forward to seeing what you create, so please remember to come and leave a link and a comment when you're ready to share.

Such a lovely challenge - and a fab prize, but not sure if i will get a chance to make something this week - although i will try! I'm off to Tanzania - i will be away for 5 weeks, so i won't be entering for a while but it is not because i have deserted you - i will be back! I love joining in with your challenges!!

Lovely DT cards as always!

I have been admiring this blog for a few weeks and have finally plucked up the courage to submit something as I created my first ever blog today! I think the whole design team for Daring Cardmakers is enormously talented... thank you for your inspiration and encouragement to give it a go myself.
