Starting From Scratch!

Well what can we say but the amount of cards we are seeing from you guys is amazing. The team try their best to look at every link and we are so pleased you all join in. Daring Card Makers is a team effort and we are over the moon that each and every one of you are helping us grow.

This week it was Tracie's (Bondgirl) turn to set the dare ....

For this weeks dare, I dare you to "start from scratch" I want to you design a card with NO purchased/pre-assembled embellishments - that means no blooms unless you cut them yourself, no buttons, brads etc etc. I guess how easy this is depends on your usual style

**insert evil laugh here**

The team as usual have come up with a great mix of cards and styles and we cant wait to see yours. As well as the usual team designers we have a special Guest Designer joining us this week, Bety has joined us for a couple of dares, so Thanks to Bety and we all look forward to working with her.

Dont forget to leave us a comment with your blog link to show us your interpretation of the dare. If you havent got a blog dont worry you can still join in, send a photo or scan of your card to the team at daringcardmakers@hotmail.co.uk and we will add it to our gallery and share the link right here on the blog

Hallo DCM Team
This is a good challenge. Instead of a card I've posted how you can make your own stamped paper (with stencils). It's easy and funny to do! You can see it on my blog.

Paula sorry I don't seem to be visiting your blog and leaving comments. I am trying. It's just that everytime I try my computer gets locked up.

I love your card, blue and silver are just gorgeous together and I'm glad you're starting to feel better. I got to read that much before it died.

Fab DT cards and so many darers already! I'll try to get round to look at them all later.

Mine's on the blog. I don't use that many ready-made embellies anyway so I pushed the boat out with a material I don't usually use (shrink plastic!) to stretch me a bit. Thanks!

Here is my first entry to a dare.
There are some lovely cards so not sure mine is good enough, but I was encouraged to have a go by Gillian.

Tracie, you're a meanie! Actually, I enjoyed this one, and I don't use tons of embellishments generally anyway, so this was a nice easy one.

Wow - only just made this one and as I was posting to my blog realised I had cheated - so sorry girls - used buttons, but they were very old ones and I didn't buy them and I made absolutely everything except the background white card myself, even the papers. So please forgive me - pretty please.

And whilst I was uploading this one, I lifted up another couple - one from challenges a couple of weeks ago - just shows how behind I have got.

Anyway ladies, far too tired now to go looking at everyone else's work, but promise I will have a browse over the weekend.

Have a great bank holiday all you Brits.
